BNZ Matamata

Refurbishment of the existing BNZ bank including  structural earthquake reinforcement works to the existing building using structural steel, the removal of a timber floor and installation of a  new concrete floor.

The interior fit out comprised the formation of new offices  with glazed partitions, new suspended ceilings, new reception desks, internal decoration, carpets and timber flooring. The services were all  replaced and the shop front and signage updated.

The bank was fully operational during the works requiring that much of the work was completed  outside normal working hours. In order to facilitate the works, Stanley offered BNZ Rural Banking Division part of their premises  to work from, thus making the work staging easier.
