NZ Post

Filling the void

It began as a large, empty, disused building in Manukau. Within eight weeks, Stanley Interiors had converted it into a major sorting and distribution centre for NZ Post.

The fitout project involved installing a suspended ceiling and building partitions to create work spaces for mail sorters, posties and couriers. 20 three-metre sections of six-metre high wall frame were lifted into place and finished.

For the Stanley team, it was ‘bread-and-butter’ work – a job presenting no special challenges, but completed smoothly and efficiently and to the client’s satisfaction.

There was close collaboration with architects Mathews & Mathews to get building consent and ensure completion within budget and on time.
