Stanley Modular has led the modular construction wave in the North Island. As pioneers of a new construction form, we have found better, smarter ways to build superior modular structures.
Our initiatives include:
Controlled factory environment
Floors, walls, ceilings, kitchens, bathrooms, plumbing and electrical are assembled at workstations as the modules are sequentially moved through the factory. Production-line efficiency is aided by square jigs and tables, permanent skilled tradesmen and dry timber. Our assembly techniques ensure consistent, easily monitored quality control.
Improved sound and fire performance
Sound Transmission Class (STC) and Impact Insulation Class (IIC) ratings in excess of are 55 achieved at our Matamata factory. Inter-tenancy fire requirements are easily satisfied by standard modular design detail.
Extra-strong construction
Each module we build is essentially a torsion box, because the ceiling is constructed like a floor.
Certification before transportation
Each module is certified by an independent building certifier before it is transported to site.
