Sandringham Kindergarten

Stanley were contracted by Sandringham Kindergarten to resolve their leaky building issues.

With all projects where the full scope of works is not known, it is necessary to be flexible in the way you work whilst remaining rigid on time and cost management.

Good time management was crucial as repairs were required to be completed before start of the next school term. This allowed eight weeks to remove all cladding, extend soffits, install new joinery and re-instate the interior.

Eventually 40% of the total framing was replaced due to the unseen rot.

Stanley used their innovative thinking  to rebuild the entire front elevation and suspend the existing pergola while it was rebuilt. It was a delicate operation to ensure the existing floor coverings and playground equipment was left intact and undamaged.

The job was a success with the Kindergarten opening its doors for the start of the 2nd term as promised and the client has since commissioned further work from us.
